Celebrating Our Achievement as a 2‑Star Club in the Football Australia Club Changer Program

Our club is incredibly proud to announce that we have been recognised as a 2‑Star Club in the Football Australia Club Changer Program — a national initiative designed to support clubs in building safer, stronger, and more sustainable environments for everyone involved in the game.

The Club Changer Program provides clubs with practical tools, education, and frameworks to improve governance, grow participation, strengthen community connections, and ensure football remains a welcoming and inclusive sport. Earning stars within the program reflects a club’s commitment to best practice and continuous improvement across key areas such as child safeguarding, female participation, club culture, and long‑term sustainability.

Achieving 2‑Star status is not just a badge — it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and values that define our club. Over the past year, we have:

• Strengthened our governance and club operations, ensuring our policies, procedures, and decision‑making processes reflect transparency, accountability, and professionalism.

• Enhanced our commitment to child safety, implementing robust safeguarding measures and ensuring all volunteers and coaches meet compliance requirements.

• Invested in female football, expanding opportunities for girls and women, improving pathways, and creating an environment where female players feel supported and celebrated.

• Built a more inclusive and welcoming club culture, ensuring every player, volunteer, and family feels valued and respected.

• Improved our strategic planning, focusing on long‑term growth, volunteer support, and community engagement.

• Delivered programs and initiatives that align with Football Australia’s best‑practice standards, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement.

This achievement reflects the collective effort of our committee, coaches, volunteers, players, and families. It shows that we are not only growing on the field but also building a club that stands for integrity, inclusivity, and excellence.

Becoming a 2‑Star Club is a milestone — but it’s also a stepping stone. We will continue striving to raise standards, expand opportunities, and strengthen our role within the community.

Together, we are shaping a club that future generations can be proud of.
